Overview
Diploma in Pumps and Motors - Level 4 & Diploma in Hydraulic Principles - Level 4
Essential Knowledge in Hydraulic Technology at a Discounted Rate!
This bundled course offers two accredited qualifications that cover two crucial areas in hydraulic technology that uses chemistry, engineering, applied science and other sciences to manufacture products and processes. If you are looking for career opportunities or already employed within industries like mechanical engineering, construction, automotive and aerospace engineering, kitchen infrastructure, or related areas of work that use hydraulic technology, these qualifications will be a great advantage.
Pumps and Motors – Level 4 course will extensively educate you on pumps and motors to incorporate the knowledge effectively in water infrastructure, mechanical engineering, construction or any other areas of work. This is an in-depth study on the operation of a pumping system, including modules that cover the basic types of pumps, pump performance and curves, and the specifications of pumps and motors. You will learn the hydraulic aspects of pumps and their role in constructing and producing various items in the modern world, from kitchen dishwashers to automobiles.
Diploma in Hydraulic Principles – Level 4 has been developed to provide a thorough understanding of hydraulic principles, including insights into the Archimedes theory. You will learn about topics such as atmospheric pressure, geometric arguments, vacuum and hydrostatic paradox. The course will explore backflows and actual backflows to understand why it happens. Diploma in Hydraulic Principles – Level 4 is also focused on enlightening you about the NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head) and how to calculate it for a piping system.
This course will also provide you with the opportunity to understand about devices such as coupling and mechanical seals that are essential in hydraulic technology.
These courses have been endorsed under the Quality Licence Scheme (QLS). This means that Imperial Learning Limited* has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria. The completion of these courses alone does not lead to a regulated qualification*, but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The learner unit summary may be used as evidence towards recognition of prior learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. To this end the learning outcomes of the courses have been benchmarked at Level 4 against level descriptors published by Ofqual, to indicate the depth of study and level of demand/complexity involved in successful completion by the learner.
The courses themselves have been designed by Imperial Learning Limited* to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications.
The QLS endorsement involves robust and rigorous quality audits by external auditors to ensure that quality is continually met. A review of courses is carried out as part of the endorsement process.
